The Isle of Skye Trekking Centre is a small, family-run centre nestled on one of the most beautiful islands in the world. We offer horse trekking, equine therapy, and wellbeing retreats rooted in kindness — to our guests, our horses, and the land we share.

Our Philosophy

We believe time with horses can change a person's day — sometimes their life. Our team is experienced, qualified, and deeply committed to the welfare of every animal in our care. We keep group sizes small, match horses thoughtfully to each rider, and never rush a moment.

The Horses

Our herd is a mix of native Highlands, Irish Cobs, and steady riding school types — each chosen for temperament and kindness. They live out as much as possible, are fed a natural diet, and are given long, well-earned holidays between busy seasons.
