Not at all. Most of our guests arrive as complete beginners. Our horses are chosen for their calm, steady temperament, and every session begins with a full safety briefing and introduction to your horse.
Yes — we host solo travellers, couples, and small groups of friends. Retreats are limited to 6 guests at a time to keep the experience intimate and personal.
For therapy and trekking, you can reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before. Retreat deposits are non-refundable, but we are happy to move your booking to a future date where possible.
Sturdy boots with a small heel, long trousers, and a waterproof jacket (this is Skye!). Helmets are provided.
Equine therapy is a complementary practice. We work alongside, not in place of, qualified counsellors and GPs.
